Privacy

What we store about you
Your public SteamID64, your Steam display name and avatar (so the app can greet you), when you signed in and last used the app, the games you add to your want list with any price targets you set, deals you choose to hide, and — only if you press “Sync Steam” — the names, Steam app IDs and total playtime of games in your Steam library (playtime is used only to sort your library).
What we never see
Your Steam password (sign-in happens on Steam's own site through OpenID), your email, payment details, friends, chat, or anything private on your Steam profile. Library sync reads only what your Steam privacy settings already make public.
Who else touches the data
The app runs on Vercel (hosting and request logs) and stores data in Supabase (Postgres, US West region). A daily crawler on GitHub Actions receives an anonymous, de-duplicated list of game titles that appear on anyone's want list — no account is attached to it — so those games are priced even when not on sale. Your SteamID appears in Vercel's request logs briefly during sign-in, as it is part of Steam's return URL.
How it's protected
Every read and write goes through the server; the database refuses direct access from browsers. Your session is a signed, HttpOnly cookie that expires after 30 days and can be revoked from “Sign out everywhere”. Your want list, hidden deals and library are keyed to your SteamID and are never shown to another user; the “Your want list” shelf only ever reflects your own account. Secrets live only in server configuration.
No tracking
No analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts. Cover images load from Steam's and IsThereAnyDeal's image servers without a referrer. Links to stores are plain links.
Your data, your call
From the You page you can download everything we hold about you as a file, or delete your account, which removes your profile, want list, hidden deals and library immediately. Accounts unused for 18 months are deleted automatically. Questions: message the owner on Steam (profile “keltrax”).
